Set in 2031, the entire world is frozen except for those aboard the Snowpiercer. For 17 years, the world's survivors are on a train hurtling around the globe creating their own economy and class system. Led by Curtis, a group of lower-class citizens living in squalor at the back of the train are determined to get to the front of the train and spread the wealth around. Each section of the train holds new surprises for the group who have to battle their way through. A revolution is underway.
"Snowpiercer" is a unique Science-Fiction movie starring Chris Evans. In this brutal and spectacular film, we get to see a future where almost everything on the planet is covered in snow. The few surviving humans are in a train that's going around the world, in a system like our society. The poor people in the back and the richer you are, the further away you are from the poor people. While the story is interesting and won’t bore you, you are mainly here for the amazingly brutal and over the top action scenes. The set designs are also a treat for the eyes. An all-round blast to watch.
Snowpiercer is a post-apocalyptic movie with a very interesting concept but it really works. The story overall is very good and exciting but I am not sure how I feel about the VERY open ending. Should I like it or should I hate it? There are also some very strange events throughout the story, again some may like it some may hate it. Chris Evans, as Curtis, surely pulls the story and it is the character you care about most. There are some other interesting characters as well but you feel less related to those. Not to forget is that the performances were good overall as well. All in all, Snowpiercer is one to watch.
“Snowpiercer” tells a very interesting story about the last remaining humans on earth. They currently reside inside a train conventionally called the Snowpiercer. Inside the train they hide for the cold weather that, back in the day, has destroyed the planet. There is a lot of brutal and over the top action, so it is not a film for everyone. However the movie features some truly special set designs which were never repetitive throughout the train. Chris Evans, as Curtis, brought us an amazing performance. While this can’t be said about every character, the overall performance was enough to make for a good movie. At last there is a part which you will love or hate, and that is the open ending. We don’t know how we feel about it, so maybe you will find yourself struggling as well. In the end “Snowpiercer” is one to watch.
